The people behind the pieces

About the Artist

I’m Erik Sterling, founder of Aetherial Forge in Orlando, Florida. After a career as an Air Force officer, I found a new kind of mission in making things, bringing technical precision together with the freedom to create something playful, colorful, and entirely worth a second look.

From the lens to the layers.

Photography taught me to notice light, composition, and the details that give an image life. My time photographing at Epic Universe sharpened that appreciation for immersive worlds and the joy a familiar character can spark. At the forge, I carry that eye into dimensional artwork and objects with personality.

Something you can connect with.

I want a piece to do more than fill a space. It might remind you of a favorite story, make you laugh when you glance up from your desk, or invite you to run a finger over the texture. That small moment of connection is why I make it.

Built together.

My husband Martin is part of the forge too, helping with operations, inventory, and the work that gets a finished piece safely into your hands. We build this business together, one piece and one conversation at a time.

When you shop here, you support an independent Orlando studio and the people who make your order. I’m glad you found us, and I hope you find something that feels like yours.
